About Us
A little about how Gypsy Acres Metal Art was started, its all about the legacy of my Dad and metal art.
My Dad started his first metal art business in 1976, and was quite successful. Back then it was all about abstracts, and raw steel. It was fun growing up in a welding shop, helping, learning, watching as a kid and it always peaked my interest.
Decades later my Dad started it again as a hobby implementing color, and a whole new look to fit the times. His artwork was absolutely amazing and creative and was now for indoor and outdoor living.
Our goal is for Gypsy Acres Metal Art to be our own personal flare on what he has already mastered. My husband and I have incorporated some very unique ideas that we cant wait to share with you in our collection.
How our products are made
Our products are made by using various welding styles including a plasma table, hand plasma, mig welding, braising and using various gauges of steel and electroplated steel . We use the highest of quality paints, some with metallic for that extra shine and clearcoat for all weather protection.
Our products sparkle and pop in natural sunshine or direct lighting expressing all of the colors and realism added to our pieces.
We use a variety of different woods birch, spruce, diamond willow, cedar, and driftwood. All wood products are hand carved by Ken using different tools to create his natural looking backgrounds. You can not find our products anywhere else and once you get one, you will see it's only the beginning of your new addiction.
Vision Of Our Company
Our vision is to continue what my Dad started and over time create our own made as metal artists.
We would like to grow it from a hobby to a business and i think we are well on our way.
Our brand as Gypsy Acres Metal Art is home and outdoor living decor.
Our colourful collections add a flare of artistic design and colour that can not be found anywhere else.
